Preparing for Battle

A commission for a friend of his Warhammer Farseer. Thank God for deviant art because I had no idea what a Farseer was or what one would look like before starting this piece. Mixed media, I sketched this out and then colored it with Prismacolors, with the use of metallic gel pens for highlights and runes. I'm not sure the effect really came through the scan, but I can go visit her if I feel nostalgic.
